Elias Aifantis

Elias Aifantis is a Professor at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at King AbdulAziz University. They served as a Distinguished Research Professor and Professor Emeritus at Michigan Technological University from 2010. Previously, Aifantis held positions as a Visiting Professor and Instructor at the University of Minnesota and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois. Aifantis earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials & Mechanics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Diploma in Mining & Metallurgy from the National Technical University of Athens.
