Jeevan Singh Basnet

Jeevan Singh Basnet has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Jeevan Singh began their career as a Software Engineer at Nepasoft Solutions in 2006, where they developed moderately complex software products using Java, Jsp, and Oracle PL/SQL. Jeevan Singh then moved on to Verisk Information Technologies in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time there, they analyzed and developed complex designs and built component-based applications using Java and PL/SQL. Jeevan Singh also gained experience in writing optimized and complex SQLs, PL/SQL functions, and procedures. In 2012, Jeevan became a Principal Software Engineer at Verisk Information Technologies, where they worked in rapid software development methodologies and also served as a Scrum Master in the Data-Warehouse team. Most recently, Jeevan joined Accommodations Plus International in 2017 as a Software Engineer. In this role, they worked on a distributed application that automated the process of accommodation booking for crew members in the airline industry. Jeevan Singh designed and developed various modules of the core application using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Oracle. Jeevan Singh also implemented a microservice using Spring Boot to communicate with the Sabre Crew Management system.

Jeevan Singh Basnet completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Tribhuvan University, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, in September 2011, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance.
