Barak Srour has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. In 2011, they were a Software Engineer for Success Software Solutions, where they developed iOS apps involving image processing. In 2012, they joined Sookasa as a Senior Software Engineer and Windows Lead, where they were responsible for the Windows client and platform and developed a Virtual File System to encrypt/decrypt files and enforce access control. In 2016, they joined Microsoft as a Software Engineer for both Microsoft Cyber Defense and Cortana. Currently, they are a Software Engineer for Apiiro, a company that helps security teams and developers proactively remediate critical risks in cloud-native applications.
Barak Srour attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science.
