Gil David

Gil David has extensive work experience in data science, machine learning, and cyber security. Gil began their career in 2008 as the Founder and CEO of Brainstorm Private Consulting, providing private consulting services to commercial, military, and governmental organizations in Israel and the USA. In 2011, they became a Research Professor and Adjoint Professor in Networking and Cyber Security at the Department of Mathematical Information Technology at the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland. From 2013 to 2015, Gil served as an Advisory Board Member for Aorato and then as a Data Science and Machine Learning Consultant for Microsoft. In 2017, they joined CyberMDX as an Advisory Board Member and Chief Scientist of Artificial Intelligence, as well as Sensority LTD. as an Advisory Board Member. In 2018, Gil became an Advisory Board Member for Coneuron and then in 2019, they became the Head of ML & Data Science for Zero Networks and Head of AI for apiiro.

Gil David completed a Postdoc at Yale University from 2008 to 2011 in Applied Math. Gil then obtained their Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University from 2006 to 2009 in Computer Science. Prior to that, they earned an M.Sc. from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1999 to 2003 in Computer Science.
