Shehan Chamara has a diverse background in procurement and banking, beginning with a role as a Banking Trainee at the Bank of Ceylon in 2009. This experience was followed by a position as Purchasing Officer at New Hope Lanka (Pvt) Ltd from November 2013 to October 2014. Currently, Shehan serves as a Senior Procurement Executive at APIIT Sri Lanka, a position held since October 2015. Shehan holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the National Institute of Business Management, completed in 2013, and is furthering education at the Institute of Supply and Materials Management, focusing on the same field.
