Anthony Larocca

Anthony LaRocca has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Anthony started their career as a System Administrator at Alachua County Tax Collector, where they supported computer systems and implemented improvements to enhance functionality. Anthony then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Sage, where they played a key role in developing and testing interoperability functionality for electronic health records. After that, they joined Open Health Tools as an Open Source Developer, making significant contributions to the project's code and supporting users of the software. Anthony continued their career at Apixio, where they served as a Senior Software Architect and later as the Director of Engineering. At Apixio, they built high-scale ETL and Data Science Pipelines for healthcare AI and machine learning, and implemented bi-directional interfaces with leading EHRs to deliver clinical insights at the Point of Care. Currently, they are the founder of LaRocca Consulting Group, LLC, where they provide executive consulting and engineering services, overseeing architectural aspects and driving product requirements for healthcare and AI applications.

From 2000 to 2005, Anthony LaRocca pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Florida.
