Eric Dong

Eric Dong has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Eric started as an Account Manager at GM Nameplate, where they worked with customers, sales, process engineering, quality, and production to ensure customer satisfaction. Eric then transitioned to NEC Computers as an RFQ Analyst, where they created special packages for large customers and determined special pricing. Eric then worked as a Process Engineering Manager at GM Nameplate, overseeing the activities of the Process Engineering Department. Eric later joined Varian Medical Systems as an Upgrades Marketing Specialist, responsible for providing quotations, information, training, and technical assistance to sales. Eric also worked at FileMaker Inc. as a Product Management Intern, assisting with requirements gathering and analyzing survey data. Eric further expanded their skills at Accuray, serving as a Product Marketing Manager, where they established the strategic direction of the Upgrade and Service Business Unit and launched new service agreement offerings. Eric then joined Coventry Health Care as a Product Manager, leading the development, testing, deployment, and support of the Coventry Connect Web Application. At A9.com, they worked as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for the successful development and deployment of various search services. Lastly, Eric joined Scribd as a Lead Product Manager, leading the successful development and deployment of the search and recommendations experience. Eric defined requirements, launch criteria, and roadmap for new algorithms. Currently, Eric serves as a Principal Product Manager at Apixio, where they continue to contribute their expertise in product management.

Eric Dong holds a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) from Santa Clara University, earned between the years 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from San Jose State University, specializing in Marketing and International Business, between 1992 and 1997.
