Mathieu Simonis

Mathieu Simonis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data analytics and business intelligence within the maritime and oil sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Business Analyst for HUBS Regional Data & Analytics at APM Terminals since January 2023, Mathieu previously held the positions of Head of Business Intelligence and Yard Strategist at APM Terminals Maasvlakte II B.V. from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, Mathieu worked at Maersk Oil as a Wellsite Drilling Engineer, completing a two-year MITAS graduate program that provided comprehensive training across multiple locations and disciplines. Mathieu's earlier roles include positions at Heerema Marine Contractors as a graduation intern focused on designing a novel jacket restraint system, an intern at Fujian Huisman Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd. managing a work order system project, and part-time Assistant Production Engineer at Allseas.
