Ben Wyatt

Ben Wyatt is an esteemed professional with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at APM, Rio Tinto, West Coast Eagles, and Woodside Energy since 2021, and as a Director at Wyatt Martin Pty Ltd since June 2021, Ben showcases a strong commitment to governance and leadership. Previously, Ben held key government positions as Treasurer of Western Australia and Minister for Finance, Aboriginal Affairs, Lands, and Energy from 2017 to 2021, along with a tenure as Shadow Treasurer and various shadow ministerial roles from 2008 to 2017. Legal expertise was developed as Counsel at the Director of Public Prosecutions of Western Australia and as a Lawyer at Minter Ellison. Educational qualifications include a Distinction MSc in Comparative Politics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and an LLB from the University of Western Australia.
