Robert Melia

Independent Non-executive Director

Robert Melia has a robust background in growth strategy within the human services sector, currently serving as a Board Member at APM since July 2020. Previously, as Chief Development Officer at The MENTOR Network from November 2007 to October 2016, Robert led growth strategies for a $1B+ organization focused on individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health issues. Robert also played a crucial role in founding FourstaR Employment and Skills, securing government contracts to aid long-term unemployed individuals. Earlier experience includes serving as President of the Workforce Services Division at MAXIMUS, overseeing welfare-to-work programs across multiple countries, and holding the position of First Deputy Commissioner at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Human Service Management from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management and a BA in Social Thought and Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
