David Murphy, CPP.APMP, is the Principal Owner of Painted Sky Consulting LLC, specializing in capture and proposal management since June 2021. With an extensive career spanning over four decades, David has held significant roles including Proposal Manager at Sierra Nevada Corporation from April 2017 to May 2021, Director of Capture Management at DynCorp International from July 2011 to March 2017, and Director of Capture/Proposal Operations at EOD Technology from February 2010 to March 2011. David's experience also includes leadership positions at Shipley Associates, Sybase, Lockheed Martin Astronautics, Ground Systems, and The BDM Corporation. David began a military career as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, focusing on Russian linguistics, prior to earning a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
