Mandy Core, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Medical Director of Medical Affairs at Apnimed since January 2025. Previously, Mandy held key roles at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. as Senior Director and Director of Medical Strategy within Global Medical Affairs. Prior experience includes serving as Medical Communications Lead at Takeda Oncology and various positions in Global Medical Affairs at TESARO, Inc. including Associate Director and Senior Manager. Mandy began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and has also worked as a Medical Writer at Idera Pharmaceuticals. Mandy obtained a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Boston University, a Master’s degree from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University.
