David Briggs

David Briggs is the Chief Executive Officer at Apogee Semiconductor, Inc., a company dedicated to advancing space exploration by bridging the technology gap between commercial and high-reliability components, including radiation-resistant solutions for satellites. From 2019 to 2022, Briggs held senior leadership roles at Qorvo, Inc., including Senior Director, Programmable Power Management and Director, Power Management & Motor Drive Products, responsible for the power management business after the Active-Semi acquisition. From 2014 to 2019, Briggs served as Vice President and General Manager of Power Solutions and Worldwide Sales at Active-Semi International, Inc. Earlier in their career, Briggs worked at Texas Instruments from 1990 to 1997 in several engineering and leadership roles, including General Manager – RF and Radio Products, Product Line Manager – DC/DC Converters, Design Manager – DC/DC Converters, and Analog Design Engineer. They also held leadership roles at Innovative Management Solutions (Director Hosting Solutions, 2011–2013), Innovation Sentinels, LLC (President, 2010–2011), and VirtuWave, LLC (Managing Member, 2011–2014).
