Michael Anderson has a diverse work experience. Michael started their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Marine Corps Combat Engineer Officer for 30 years, achieving the rank of Colonel. Michael has extensive experience in joint and combined operations, NATO, and is a combat veteran. After retiring from the military in 2006, they joined Apogee Solutions, Inc. In their time there, they held various roles, including Director of Operations and Business Development.
Michael Anderson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Southeast Missouri State University, where they studied from 1972 to 1976. Michael then pursued a Master of Education degree in Education at the University of Portland from 1981 to 1983. Later, in 1996 to 1997, they attended the U.S. Naval War College, where they obtained a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies.
