Dr. Werner Meyer

Dr. Werner Meyer has a strong background in project management and clinical research within the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Werner began their career at Searle / Heumann Pharma GmbH in 1998, where they served as a Senior CRA and later as the European Clinical Research Manager until 2000. Dr. Werner then joined Pharmacia GmbH as a Clinical Research Manager from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, Dr. Meyer moved to Astellas Pharma Europe, where they held the position of Senior Manager, Clinical Research II until 2005. Dr. Werner joined Covance CAPS GmbH in 2006 as a Senior Project Manager for a brief period of six months before moving to Fresenius Biotech GmbH later that year. At Fresenius Biotech, they served as the Director and Global Team Leader from 2006 to 2009. Finally, Dr. Meyer joined Apogenix AG in 2009 and has held various roles, including VP Project Management and currently serves as VP CMC Project Management.

Dr. Werner Meyer started their education at the University of Bayreuth in 1987, where they pursued a degree in Chemie-Diplom+Promotion. Dr. Werner completed their studies at the university in 1997, after a decade of dedicated learning. In the following year, from 1997 to 1998, Dr. Meyer attended bfz Bayreuth, where they specialized in Projektmanagent und Technischen Vertrieb as a Fachmann.
