Johan Evenäs

Johan Evenäs is a seasoned professional in the fields of chemistry and biopharmaceuticals, currently serving as the CEO and co-founder of RED GLEAD DISCOVERY since September 2011. Johan is also a member of the Steering Committee for the Chemical Biology Consortium Sweden at Karolinska Institutet and holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at WAC Weak Affinity Chromatography AB. Additional roles include Board Member at ApoGlyx and previously at Merozyne Therapeutics AB. Johan's extensive experience includes over a decade as a Senior Research Scientist at AstraZeneca, where leadership in drug discovery and project management was demonstrated. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, along with ongoing executive education in management and leadership.
