Ale Maiano is the co-founder and CEO of Wilbe, a venture investment firm focused on supporting scientist-led startups across the US and Europe. With a background in law, including experience as a corporate solicitor and placements at various law firms, Ale transitioned into entrepreneurship, co-founding Kormoon and working with multiple ventures in technology and renewable energy. Ale has served on the founding teams of multiple startups, including Apoha, Watergenics, and U-Ploid Biotechnologies, and they have also contributed as a guest lecturer at Imperial College London. Since relaunching Wilbe, Ale has been dedicated to empowering scientists to become founders through their flagship program, Become a Scientist Founder (BSF).
