Will L.

Will L. began their career in 2008 as an Engineer Intern at Tyco Electronics. Will then held a Designer Intern position at Linear Technology in 2009, followed by an Android Developer role at the MIT Media Lab. In 2010, they became a Researcher Intern at Robert Bosch, and in 2011 they were hired as a Software Engineer at Oracle. In 2012, Will joined Sophos as a Senior Mobile Engineer and developed the App Protector Android application, which was later acquired by Mojave Networks and Sophos. In 2015, they founded Mage Inc. and held the role of Founder & Full Stack Developer, where they created the first customer-facing mobile apps for creating Augmented Reality (AR) enabled custom greeting cards and photo prints. Finally, in 2016, Will became Co-Founder & Lead Developer at Apollo Box, Inc., an e-commerce platform. Will led the development and deployment of a custom e-commerce marketplace on AWS, managed the development of an Augmented Reality based product 3D virtualization feature, designed and developed the ApolloBox native iOS app, and oversaw the development of native Android app.

Will L. attended NanKai from 1999 to 2005. Will then attended Tsinghua University from 2005 to 2006. Will received their Bachelor's degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in EECS in 2010 and their Master's degree from the same institution in 2011.
