Phil Westmorland

Phil Westmorland is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of IChemE, currently serving as the Decarbonisation Director at Apollo. Since establishing and leading the decarbonisation business unit, Phil has focused on helping industries navigate the complexities of the energy transition, combining technical credibility with strategic insight. Phil has a background in engineering leadership, having previously held roles including Technical Director and Business Unit Manager, where they emphasized quality, compliance, and mentorship. With a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, Phil is committed to creating sustainable solutions and fostering long-term partnerships. Additionally, Phil co-hosts the "What on Earth" podcast, discussing key energy transition topics.
