Alec Read

Alec Read has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Alec began their career with a work placement at Funt and Company Litigation, where they were exposed to civil and criminal litigation, tax, and aboriginal law. From 2016 to 2018, they held a work experience role at Taylor Wessing, followed by a summer student role at Cognitiv+ and Paul Hastings. In 2020, Alec Read worked as a Growth Consultant at Salesprocess.io, and in 2021 they became Co-Founder of Desolation Beverages and Account Director - REITS, Student Housing, and Team Lead - Account Management at APOLLO Insurance. At APOLLO, they were responsible for their proprietary platform, the APOLLO Exchange, which allows insurance agents and their customers to purchase policies online.

Alec Read completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Business from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from City, University of London in 2018. Alec also earned a Bachelor's Degree in History from Queen's University in 2015, and completed high school at St. George's School in 2011.
