Chris Lenfest's work experience begins in 2000 at Nortel Networks, where they worked as a Member of Software Staff. During their time there, they developed tools for UMTS and GPRS wireless networks, maintained test heads, and worked on various projects such as packet sniffing, Linux kernel hacking, and Java implementation.

In 2005, Chris joined IBM as a Staff Software Engineer. Chris contributed to the development of AIX kernel extensions for the Virtual I/O Server and played a significant role in the development of IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM) System P agents, focusing on partition, system, and cluster performance monitoring.

From 2014 to 2017, Chris worked as a Software Consultant at Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas. Chris designed and implemented a ticketing system for the Fantastic Fest film festival, allowing attendees to rank their film preferences and streamline ticket assignment. Chris also provided tools for festival management to create screenings, manage tickets, and generate advanced reports.

At Broadway Technology, where Chris started in 2010, they served as a Senior II Developer on the market connectivity team. Chris developed adaptors in C++ and Java for publishing market data into Broadway and enabling order placement. These adaptors worked with various protocols and market semantics.

From 2018 to 2019, Chris worked as a Staff Software Engineer at DOSH, and from 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Staff Software Engineer at H-E-B.

Currently, Chris is employed at Apollo GraphQL as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, starting in October 2021.

Chris Lenfest attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Chris later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the same institution from 2003 to 2005.
