Jonny Gaston

Jonny Gaston is an experienced filmmaker and video team manager currently working at Apollo GraphQL since February 2021. Prior to this role, Jonny served as a filmmaker at Algolia from June 2019 to February 2021 and as a multimedia content specialist at Docebo between February 2017 and August 2018, where video operations were launched and managed within the marketing team. Jonny's freelance work as a filmmaker spans from September 2009 to February 2017, encompassing planning, directing, filming, editing, and postproduction. Earlier experience includes a position as a digital compositor at JAM Media Ltd from June 2013 to June 2014. Jonny holds a Master's degree in Cognitive Science from Queen's University Belfast (2008-2009) and a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies with a focus on Philosophy, Psychology, and Anthropology from the University of Aberdeen (2003-2007).
