Petar Doychev

Petar Doychev is an accomplished Director of Engineering with extensive experience leading high-performance teams in delivering innovative technology solutions. Currently at Apollo GraphQL since December 2023, Petar is dedicated to fostering a culture of operational excellence and sustainability. Previously, during tenure at The Walt Disney Company, Petar led engineering efforts for integrating advertisements into the Disney+ platform, significantly enhancing revenue. Experience at Amazon includes successfully driving profitability for the Amazon Fresh app, while roles at Experian involved architecting scalable systems for millions of customers. Petar’s career also includes positions at leading companies like Google, where development of an automated testing framework was a highlight, as well as managerial and technical leadership roles at Iusacell and Unefon in Mexico’s pioneering telecommunications sector. Petar holds a BS in Computer Systems from Instituto Politécnico Nacional.
