Kathy Heppner Trogolo has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kathy is currently working as the Director of Compliance, Patient Safety and Data Quality at Apollo Intelligence, where they lead compliance processes and training. Additionally, they serve as the product owner for compliance, contracting, and patient safety tracking tool development. Kathy is also a remote/off-shore team leader and an active member of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Advancement Committee.
Prior to their current role, Kathy owned and served as a consultant at Clarity Educational Consulting, specializing in educational planning for students and families. Kathy provided project management, program development, process reviews, and technology systems implementation for K-12 schools and non-profit organizations.
Kathy also has experience as the CEO and Co-Founder of Fasility LLC, a WebXR studio. In this role, they led the development of proprietary software and provided consulting services on creating accessible virtual and augmented reality experiences over the internet. Kathy is recognized as a co-inventor on a patented immersive web content creation software called "XR Where You Are".
As the Founder of Women in the Next Realities, Kathy demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills and passion for advancing women in the XR industry. Kathy successfully led the organization from its establishment in August 2017 until September 2020.
Earlier in their career, Kathy held various roles in the education sector. Kathy worked as an Assistant Head of School at Tremont School from July 2013 to July 2015, and as the Admissions and Marketing Director at the same institution from 2012 to 2015. Prior to Tremont School, Kathy worked at The Sage School as the Director of Admission and Marketing from 2010 to 2012 and held multiple roles related to information/enrollment services from 2006 to 2010.
Before transitioning to the education sector, Kathy worked as the Director of Technology at Holbrook Public Schools from 2004 to 2006, and as a Technology Curriculum Specialist at Mansfield Public Schools from 1999 to 2001. Their early career also includes experience as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst at Private Healthcare Systems and as a Traveller (Sales) at W. W. Norton & Co.
Throughout their career, Kathy has demonstrated a strong focus on compliance, project management, and education, with a particular interest in leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences.
Kathy Heppner Trogolo earned a BA in History from Cornell University in 1995. Kathy then pursued an MA in Educational Technology Leadership from The George Washington University, completing it in 2003. Prior to their higher education, they attended Wayland High School. Kathy also holds additional certifications, including "Cert Prep: Unity Fundamentals" from LinkedIn, obtained in 2020, and "Collaborative Problem Solving, Tier 2" (institution unspecified).
