Allie Shaw

Allie Shaw has a diverse work experience, starting as an Education Coordinator Assistant at PBS Utah in 2015 and working in different roles until they became a Digital PR-Outreach Specialist at Clearlink in 2017. In 2018, they became an Executive Recruiter at Silvester & Company specializing in identifying leaders for venture capital and private equity backed firms in different industries. Allie played a significant role in recruiting for VC and PE firms nationally across multiple functions. Allie also worked as a Freelance Writer for various publications such as Shape Magazine and VentureBeat while working at Silvester & Company. Allie left this company in 2022 to join Apollo.io as a Senior Recruiter. Before their stint at Silvester & Company, they worked as a Marketing and Public Relations Associate at the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute of the University of Utah and an Education Coordinators Assistant at KUED Channel 7 – PBS Utah.

Allie Shaw earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Utah from 2014 to 2017. In addition, they obtained two certifications, including the Leadership South Valley Program from the South Valley Chamber in 2021 and SourceCon Academy from ERE in February 2020.
