Andrew Lai has extensive work experience in various roles related to business systems. Andrew most recently worked at Apollo.io as the Director of Business Systems starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Business Systems at Amplitude from January 2018 to April 2023.
Earlier in their career, Andrew worked as an App Experience Specialist at Levi's® Stadium from August 2014 to September 2018. Andrew also had a role at Square as a member of the Business Systems and Business Platform Engineering teams from February 2016 to January 2018.
Before that, Andrew gained experience at DocuSign as both a Senior Business Analyst from May 2015 to February 2016 and a Business Systems Analyst from December 2013 to May 2015.
Andrew also held positions at Bluewolf, an IBM Company, where they worked as a Project Manager, Consultant, and Business Analyst from July 2012 to December 2013. At Bluewolf, Andrew developed technical solutions and practiced agile project management.
Andrew has a Master's degree from the University of Southern California and has also worked at Sanguine Biosciences, Inc., Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and Genentech in various roles related to strategy, operations, research, and regulatory affairs.
Andrew Lai holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Andrew later pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management at the University of Southern California from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, Andrew received a Graduate Certificate in Technology Commercialization from the USC Marshall School of Business. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications from Salesforce, including Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder in March 2018, Salesforce.com Certified Sales Cloud Consultant and Salesforce.com Certified Service Cloud Consultant in September 2012, Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer in June 2012, and Salesforce.com Certified Administrator in April 2012.
