Roy Chung

Roy Chung is the Chief Business Officer at Apollo. Prior to joining Apollo, they were with Revenue Collective, Pioneer Fund, Flow Research Collective, and JoyFund. From July 2017 to March 2019, they were a Mentor & Advisor at GrowthX Academy where they helped shape the next generation of disruptive, smart, and thoughtful business leaders in emerging technology. From April 2017 to May 2019, they were a Mentor & Advisor at Blackbox, a Silicon Valley-based nonprofit working to elevate entrepreneurs globally. Prior to that, they were with Apollo.io and Y Combinator where they were part of the S14' and W16' batches. Roy is also a Board Member and Founder of KORAFF.

Roy Chung attended Wesleyan University for their undergraduate degree, where they studied government and sociology. Roy then attended the University of California, Berkeley for their master's degree in business and entrepreneurship and technology policy. Roy is currently enrolled in The Johns Hopkins University's Organizational Leadership program through Johns Hopkins CTY.
