Sam Roberts

Sam Roberts has held a variety of roles in the design industry since 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they were a Senior UI Designer and Art Director at the University of North Carolina. Sam then served as a Behavior Change Communicator for the Peace Corps in Kenya from 2006 to 2008. After their time in the Peace Corps, Sam held the role of Senior Visual Designer at eBay from 2008 to 2010. Sam then moved to Apple Inc. where they were a Senior User Experience Designer from 2010 to 2016. In 2016, they co-founded Caffeine and served as Design and Engineering Executive until 2018. Sam then became a Product Designer at Oculus VR from 2018 to 2020, and is currently a Principal UX Designer & Frameworks Manager at Rivian since 2020. Most recently, they were appointed Senior VP of Design at Apollo Neuro in 2022.

Sam Roberts attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.
