Alex Piggot is a qualified legal professional with a strong focus on tax law and a background in financial services disputes. Beginning a career at Hogan Lovells in 2017, Alex completed a vacation scheme and received a training contract offer, leading to a comprehensive training period as a Trainee Solicitor with assignments in financial services disputes, tax, international arbitration, and insolvency. After several roles, including serving as a Tax Associate at Kirkland & Ellis and currently at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP since April 2024, Alex is currently a Secondee (Tax) at Apollo Global Management, Inc. Educational achievements include a First Class BA in History from the University of Oxford and completion of the GDL/LPC at BPP Law School.
