Alexey Baran, MBA, FIA, CFA, is currently the VP APAC Portfolio Manager at Apollo Global Management, Inc., where they oversee portfolio management in the Asia-Pacific region. They have extensive experience in risk management and actuarial practices within the insurance sector, having previously held senior roles at NN and involved in M&A activities with Elliott Advisors and the European Insurance Consolidation Group. Alexey earned a Master's degree in Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University and holds the Fellow designation from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, along with a CFA Charter.
