Cathy Han

Cathy Han, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Accounting Policy at Apollo Global Management, Inc., a role commenced in March 2022 after previously holding the position of Associate Director in the same department. Prior experience includes a position at The D. E. Shaw Group from January 2018 to March 2022, where financial reporting and accounting policy expertise was employed to lead month-end closings and prepare year-end U.S. reports. Earlier career stages involved roles as a Deals Senior Associate at PwC and as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Cathy contributed to the Accounting Advisory group and supported academic activities. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance, both obtained from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
