David L. Harris, Jr. ("DJ") is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in employment law. Currently serving as Employment Counsel at Apollo Global Management Inc. since September 2021, David has previously worked as Vice President and Counsel in Employment Law at BNY Mellon from October 2018 to August 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Litigation Associate at Ogletree Deakins from September 2014 to September 2018, focusing on employment and commercial litigation, and participating in courtroom arguments. David's legal career also includes internships with the U.S. Department of Justice and the South Carolina Department of Social Services. David holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Alabama School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Furman University.
