Ian Bell

Mr. Bell is Apollo’s Head of Institutional Client & Product Solutions, Asia Pacific. He is located in the firm’s Hong Kong office, where he spearheads a region-wide team providing institutional investor coverage and product management for Apollo’s suite of funds across Private Equity, Private Debt and Real Assets.

Prior to joining Apollo as a Partner in mid-2021, Mr. Bell served as Managing Director and Responsible Officer of Evercore Asia, where he established and led the firm’s highly successful Private Funds Group in the region. Mr. Bell also held senior client coverage roles for Credit Suisse’s Fixed Income Division, focusing on the Asia Pacific region, and worked in both the London and Sydney offices of Deutsche Bank’s Global Market’s Division.

Named one of Private Equity International’s 40 under 40 Future Leaders of Private Equity in 2021, Mr. Bell earned an Executive MBA from both the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and also holds a First Class Honours Degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Western Australia.
