Johnathon Baker

Johnathon Baker is a seasoned procurement and strategic sourcing professional with extensive experience in leading global teams and managing substantial spend across various industries. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement at Apollo Global Management Inc. since February 2021, Johnathon previously held senior leadership roles at Gap Inc., where responsibilities expanded from Vice President to Senior Vice President of Strategic Sourcing, managing a diverse team across multiple international offices. Prior experience includes positions at Starbucks as Vice President of Global Procurement, Safeco Insurance as Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer, Delta Air Lines in various strategic and operational roles, and Motorola in various purchasing and production capacities. Johnathon holds a double major in Procurement/Materials and Production/Operations Management from Bowling Green State University.
