Jonathan Silver

Jonathan Silver is an experienced leader in the clean energy and sustainability sectors, currently serving as Chair of the Global Climate Council at Apollo Global Management, Inc., where the focus is on guiding investments in cleantech and sustainability. As a board member of National Grid, Plug Power, and EG Acquisition Corp, Silver contributes to major energy and transportation initiatives. With a background as a Senior Advisor for various clean economy service providers and past roles including Managing Partner at Tax Equity Advisors LLC and Executive Director of the Loan Programs Office at the U.S. Dept of Energy, Silver has a strong foundation in energy policy and finance. Jonathan Silver's academic credentials include a BA with honors in Government from Harvard University, C.E.P. in Public Policy from Sciences Po, and doctoral work in economics and public policy from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.
