Matt Nord

Matt Nord is Partner and Co-Head of Equity at Apollo, where he co-leads the firm’s private equity franchise and oversees the hybrid value fund and growth equity strategies. He is also a member of the Firm's Leadership team and the Apollo Women Empower (AWE) affinity network. Throughout his career, Matt has led numerous investments across technology, healthcare and business services and currently serves on the board of directors of TD Synnex, West Technology Group, Lifepoint Health, ScionHealth and Tenneco. Prior to joining Apollo in 2003, he was a member of the Investment Banking division of Salomon Smith Barney Inc.

Matt serves on the Montefiore Health System Board of Trustees, the Board of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation and as the Chairman of the Board of Advisors of the University of Pennsylvania’s Stuart Weitzman School of Design. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a BS in Economics.
