Melva Y has extensive experience in both nonprofit and corporate sectors, serving as a community volunteer for various organizations since 1995, including notable groups such as the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity. In the private sector, Melva has held significant roles, including Private Equity EA for Portfolio Performance Solutions at Apollo Global Management, supporting sustainable portfolio operations. Previous positions include EA & Operations at BBR Partners, where support was provided to senior leadership, and Director of Administration & EA at AlphaSights, overseeing the growth and operational protocols of the New York office. Earlier experience includes roles at DRS - Fintech and Urban Justice Center, focusing on marketing, HR, and operations management. Melva Y holds graduate studies in Human Resources Management from Capella University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Messiah University.
