Michael Kashani

Michael Kashani is a distinguished professional in the field of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investing, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of ESG Credit at Apollo Global Management Inc. since October 2021. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Global Head of ESG Portfolio Management at Goldman Sachs from May 2006 to October 2021, where responsibilities included coordinating ESG integration across fixed income teams and managing specific ESG-oriented mandates. Michael also founded Project Forward, focusing on creating a blockchain-based digital currency earned through positive social impact. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance/Management Information Science from the University at Albany, SUNY.
