Michael Picone is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Principal at Apollo Global Management Inc. since September 2015, Michael previously held the position of Associate Director. Prior to that, Michael worked as an Internal Consultant at Prudential Financial from June 2012 to August 2015. Michael's military career includes serving as Company Commander in the U.S. Army from June 2007 to September 2012, where leadership was demonstrated over a company of approximately 160 military and civilian personnel dedicated to treating and rehabilitating wounded soldiers. Michael also held the role of Platoon Leader and Tactical Director during this time. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
