Nick Pollari, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Principal - Quant Stuff at Apollo Global Management Inc. since April 2022. With extensive experience in quantitative finance, Nick teaches Financial Modeling and Python for Financial Analysis at Florida Atlantic University. Prior to the current role, Nick was a Quantitative Researcher and AI/ML Specialist at Bloomberg LP, where expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning was utilized to develop and test alpha signals from large alternative datasets. Previous positions include Senior Quantitative Analyst & Director of Trading at SandPointe, where a custom order management system and backtesting environment were developed, as well as roles with Blackbyrd Group and Seabreeze Partners Hedge Fund. Nick holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance and a Master of Science in Economics, both enhancing a solid educational foundation with a BS in Finance from UCF College of Business.
