Stephen Degroat

Stephen DeGroat has extensive experience in the finance and accounting sectors, currently serving as a Principal at Apollo Global Management, Inc. since August 2015, where prior roles included Director, Associate Director, and Associate Accountant. Previously, Stephen worked as an Auditor at EY from September 2013 to August 2015, specializing in audits for hedge funds with assets under management exceeding $1 billion. Stephen's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Accountant at O'Connor Davies, LLP, focusing on financial services and audit administration for hedge funds and private foundations. Stephen began professional development at O'Connor Davies Munns & Dobbins, LLP as an intern and held an administrative role at the YWCA of White Plains and Central Westchester. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University at Albany in 2011.
