Tat Ng

Tat Ng is currently an advisor at ApolloFactor. Tat was previously the VP of engineering at Ease from July 2020 to October 2021. At Ease, they built a marketplace for the highly fragmented business aviation industry that still conducts business mostly by phone/fax/email. Tat joined the company at the time of a new funding round, new leadership and pivot from B2C to B2B. Tat led the re-platform effort to microservices backend and Angular frontend on AWS. Tat managed both the engineering and product/design teams, and delivered multiple new products to the market, including the most advanced pricing engine in the industry. Tat scaled the team from 18 to 70 people in 2 years by establishing a well-defined and methodical recruiting process with minimal use of outside recruiting help. Tat built an organization that is disciplined, process and metrics oriented, and quality-focused that delivered to milestones. Tat mentored internally promoted managers and directors. Tat served as a key member of the exec team on many company-level decisions including business strategy, product direction, operations, and employee policies. Prior to their time at Ease, they were the VP of engineering at Stellar Labs, Inc. from January 2017 to March 2020.

Tat Ng has a BS in Engineering from the University of Arizona and certification from LinkedIn in Advice for Leaders during a Crisis, Agile Project Leadership, Pitching to Investors, and Becoming an AI-First Product Leader. Tat also has certification from The Johns Hopkins University in Executive Data Science Specialization and Stanford University in Machine Learning.
