Christopher Jones

Christopher Jones has extensive work experience in the field of scientific services and medical writing. Christopher currently holds the position of SVP, Scientific Partner at ApotheCom, an Inizio Company, a role they have been in since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the VP, Scientific Services at the same company from June 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining ApotheCom, Christopher worked at MedErgy where they held various positions including Senior Director, Clinical Oncology Lead from May 2017 to May 2019, Scientific Director from November 2015 to April 2017, and Associate Scientific Director from November 2013 to October 2015.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Medical Director at ApotheCom Associates in 2011, an Associate Scientific Services Director and Scientific Services Team Leader at Wolters Kluwer Pharma Solutions from 2009 to 2011, a Senior Medical Writer from April 2008 to May 2009, and a Medical Writer at PharmaWrite LLC from November 2006 to March 2008.

Christopher also has academic experience, having worked as a Senior Lecturer at Cardiff University from March 1994 to October 2006. Christopher also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Medical Branch from July 2003 to March 2004, and Cancer Research UK from March 1990 to June 1993.

Christopher Jones attended Cardiff University from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a PhD in Molecular Genetics at Swansea University, completing their degree from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their academic qualifications, Christopher obtained certification as a Certified Medical Publication Professional™ from the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) in October 2011.
