Hani Jabbour

Hani Jabbour has worked in the software development industry since 2004. Hani began their career as a Junior Software Developer at the University of Ottawa, where they also served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. In 2004, they co-founded and co-owned RFIDSoft, an Ottawa-based company developing software for RFID shipment tracking. In 2006, they joined Bridgewater Systems as a Technical Manager and Software Developer. In this role, they were responsible for managing 4 scrum teams and executing customer requirements. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at CENX, first as Director of Engineering Services and then as Director of Software Development and Manager of the Rapid Development team. In 2018, they joined App8 as Chief Technology Officer.

Hani Jabbour received a MaSc and is currently working on a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa. Prior to this, they attended Lycee.
