Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith has over 10 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Ryan began their career in 2007 as a Firmware Engineer Co-op at Sandvine, followed by a Software Designer Co-op role at Bridgewater Systems. In 2008, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer Co-op at Research In Motion. In 2009, they returned to Bridgewater Systems as a Software Designer. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Amdocs, initially as a Senior SME - Software Developer and then as an SME - Software Developer. In 2015, they joined CENX as an Engineering Lead, and later as a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer. Since 2018, they have been working as a Senior Software Architect at App8.

Ryan Smith attended the University of Waterloo from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a BASc in Computer Engineering.
