Michelle Frederick

Michelle Frederick has extensive experience in leadership and talent development within educational facilities. Currently serving as the Director of Learning and Certification at APPA since 2013, Michelle also holds roles such as Dean of the Supervisors Toolkit and Chair of the Regional Representatives. Previous positions include Senior Director of Learning and Performance at American University, Interim Director of Talent Development at ERAPPA, and Training & Organizational Development Manager at American University. Earlier career experience includes establishing and leading the first training office at the Smithsonian Institution. Michelle's educational background includes certifications and degrees from APPAU, Georgetown University, and the University of Maryland.
