Apparent Winds is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to operating an impactful and sustainable sailing research vessel while collecting and sharing stories of environmental and cultural preservation from around the world.  

We are currently on a 10-year global expedition on our 75-foot aluminum hulled sailing research vessel, SV Resilience.  Established in 2022, Apparent Winds has already worked with communities all over the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, currently sailing the South Pacific Ocean. 

SV Resilience is available to scientists, educational groups, and others as an affordable and sustainable research and learning platform.
