Peter Sanfelder

Peter Sanfelder has worked in the manufacturing and procurement industry for over a decade. Peter started their career in 2006 as an independent contractor providing carpentry and welding services for the Theatrical Arts. In 2011, they joined Max Machinery, Inc. as an Operations Manager, where they set up new processes and integrated the various departments to have a cohesive workflow compliant to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Peter was also the team leader for the migration and process adaptation from the Visual Manufacturing to CloudSuite Industrial ERP platform. In addition, they were a Manufacturing Engineer, where they sourced tooling and equipment critical to manufacturing, and standardized assembly methods to reduce the frequency of rework caused by process variabilities. Lastly, they were a Lab Automation Engineer, where they designed fully automated test systems traceable to NIST for product verification and calibration. In 2023, they joined Apparent Inc. as the Head of Manufacturing and Procurement.

Peter Sanfelder obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from UC San Diego between 2007 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) from Diablo Valley College. In 2018, they obtained The Making of Leaders Leadership Certificate from the Barowsky School of Business at Dominican University of California. In 2016, they obtained the LEAN Process Improvement: Delivering More with Less certification from the American Management Association.
