Scott Dexter

Scott Dexter has over 25 years of experience in software engineering, web development, and technical consulting. Scott began their career in 1991 as a Senior Systems Engineer at MCI Systemhouse. Scott then moved on to TALX Corporation as a Senior Systems Engineer in 1997. In 2004, they became a Senior Programmer/Analyst II at LandAmerica Financial Group. In 2006, they joined Fujitsu Consulting as a Senior Systems Development Analyst. In 2007, they were hired as a Software Development Manager, Technical Consulting at Pearson eCollege. In 2010, they became the Practice Manager, Application Development with New Technologies at Sogeti. In 2014, they were hired as the Director of Web Development at HealthGrades and as the Software Engineering Leader at MetLife. Since 2015, they have been the Director, Software Engineering at AppColl, Inc., where they offer easy-to-use, cloud-based patent management to enhance productivity through collaborative automation tools.

Scott Dexter is currently enrolled in Western Governors University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Software Development. Scott previously attended the University of California, Riverside from 1990 to 1993, studying Computer Science. Dexter also holds several certifications, including CompTIA Project+ (obtained in July 2022), IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) (obtained in July 2022), CompTIA A+ (obtained in February 2022), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
