Tim Southgate has had a long and varied career in the software engineering field. Tim began their career in 1983 as a Software Engineer at Marconi Radar Systems Ltd. in Chelmsford, England. In 1986, they joined Altera as a Software Engineer, eventually working their way up to Vice President of Software Marketing and Vice President of Corporate Marketing. In 2005, they moved to Stream Processors Inc. as Vice President of Software Engineering. Finally, in 2009, they founded AppColl, Inc. and served as the company's CEO.
Tim Southgate received their MBA from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business in 1992. Prior to that, they obtained a BSEE from University of Southampton in 1983, studying Electronics and Math.
